BENEFITS OF CONDOM USE

The condom is a barrier device most commonly used during sexual intercourse.

As a method of birth control, male condoms have the advantage of being inexpensive, easy to use, having few side effects, and of offering protection against sexually transmitted diseases. A condom helps protect partners from pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV.

IT is important to use because puts a barrier between partners so that bodily fluids are not shared, avoiding pregnancy and STIs. Male condoms are the only currently available reversible birth control method for men, and are 85 to 98 percent effective.
